Saul Factor, R.Ph. - President
Saul joined QS/1 on July 5, 2017, as the third president of QS/1. Prior to joining QS/1, he worked as both a retail and long-term care pharmacist. He transitioned into sales and brand management with PCS and Eli Lilly, and then moved to RxAmerica, where he developed a strategy and vision to improve the customer experience. Following his tenure at RxAmerica, Saul was recruited to McKesson Corporation as senior vice president of Global Generics. He was later named president, Global Sourcing and Procurement, where he had executive oversight of all global sourcing and procurement at the pharmaceutical distributor and healthcare information technology company. Saul holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University in Boston and an MBA from the University of New Haven.
Sonny Anderson - Vice President, Development and Systems
Sonny joined QS/1, in 1983, as an applications programmer for the pharmacy product. Over the following 15 years, he played an instrumental role in the creation and development of QS/1’s Point-of-Sale, Home Medical Equipment and Central Office products. He authored QS/1’s first inventory and electronic software distribution systems, while also spending time enhancing and supporting QS/1’s billing and customer tracking system. In 1998, Sonny was promoted to manager of Systems Programming and then director of Systems in 2001. In 2003, he was promoted to director of Systems and Technology. In 2008, Sonny was named vice president of Development and Systems. In his current position, Sonny oversees all corporate IT functions and product development. Sonny has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina and a MBA from the Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. Sonny also serves on the board of Spartanburg Community College.
Joey Parrish - Vice President, Customer Support
Joseph joined QS/1 before the Company was established as a separate division within the J M Smith Corporation. He began his career working second shift as a software support technician. In 1992, he became a support trainer, then manager of Support Training and manager of Technical Support – which became known as Customer Support in 2002. In 2006, he was promoted to senior manager, Customer Support. The knowledge base and credibility that he established over the years with employees paid off during the summer and autumn of 2006 as QS/1 re-engineered the Customer Support Center to knowledge-based in-bound call queues to provide a more responsive, higher level of customer service. Joseph was promoted to director, Customer Support, in April 2012 and vice president, Customer Support in February 2016. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina, Spartanburg – now USC, Upstate. He was the first QS/1 graduate of the Manager’s Course, earning a Management Certificate from the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina, Columbia. Professional certifications include CompTia’s Network Plus and he is a proud four-time recipient of the QS/1 Outstanding Achiever award.
Brent Thomasson - Vice President, Finance
Brent joined QS/1 as Finance manager on June 1, 1999. Prior to joining QS/1, he was an Accounting manager with St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System in Savannah, GA, where his responsibilities included general ledger, accounts payable, budgeting, decision support, tax, fixed assets and payroll. Shortly after coming aboard at QS/1, he began making numerous improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance/Accounting department. In May 2004, his role with QS/1 was expanded to include overseeing license agreements, contracts and other related legal issues. Brent was promoted to director of Finance on March 7, 2006. He subsequently assumed oversight for two departments: Hardware and New Systems/Warehouse. He was promoted to vice president on October 1, 2013, adding the responsibility of overseeing QS/1 regional operations and training. Brent has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He also earned his MBA from the Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina, and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
Ed Willett - Vice President, Operations
Ed joined QS/1, in 1982, as a software technician. He served in several managerial positions within the company before being promoted to corporate accounts executive in 1996. In 2004, Ed was promoted to Field Operations manager. In 2006, he was promoted to Field Operations director, overseeing Central Training and QS/1 Regional Offices. In April 2012, Ed was promoted to vice president of National Sales. He now oversees Healthcare and Governmental Sales, Strategic Accounts and Upgrades.
Jeff Wilson - Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Jeff Wilson joined QS/1 as vice president of Marketing on November 2, 2015. Prior to joining QS/1, he was president and founder of E-Scribe, a healthcare information management company, where his responsibilities included consulting, business development, sales, marketing and strategic alliances. E-Scribe served as a business alliance partner for Greenway Health. In addition to Greenway’s award-winning electronic health record software, E-Scribe also provided record storage, document imaging and IT infrastructure support. While working with a strategic partner, Jeff assisted with the content development and marketing of a patient relationship management software solution. Prior to founding E-Scribe, he worked with Merck & Co. in numerous sales and training leadership roles. His sales and marketing background in retail, pharmaceuticals and healthcare software provides an excellent transition to the role of vice president of Marketing at QS/1. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Clemson University.
